形態特徵

• Small dioecious tree, 10-15 m tall, glabrous; branches stout, yellowish-brown, ascending, 4-angled at first, soon terete.
• Petiole 5-12 mm long, slender, angular, not wrinkled, without pseudo-ligule; lamina 7.5-12 cm long, 4-6.3 cm broad, ovate to elliptic, apex obtuse to shortly cuspidate or rounded, margin recurved, base shortly angustate, ± firmly coriaceous, dull, lateral nerves slightly prominent beneath.
• Inflorescence from lower axils of current growth, 1-flowered; flowers 4-merous, convex, globose in bud pedicels 6 (in female)-10 (in male) mm long. Male flowers with outer 2 sepals elliptic-subcircular, rounded, 6 mm broad, inner 2 longer and broader, rounded, all cucullate, margin entire; petals 9-10 mm long, 9-10 mm broad, obovate, margin plane, entire; stamen fascicles free, erect, stout, each with many stamens, anthers oblong, dehiscing longitudinally, subsessile along most of both sides of fascicle; sterile fascicles absent; rudimentary ovary columnar, slender. Female flowers not seen.
• Berry 2-3 cm long, ca. 2 cm broad, ellipsoid to globose, smooth.
• <i>Garcinia linii</i> is related to <i>G. dives</i> Pierre of the Philippines, but differs in having broader Leaves and solitary axillary flowers.

• 台灣 : Taitung Hsien; Lanyu Is., Lutao Is. On mountain slopes.
